Immunisations
This practice follows the national policy for childhood immunisation. Further information can be found on the NHS Immunisation Schedule website.
Influenza
All patients over 65 years old or with chronic medical condition – diabetes, other severe lung problems, asthma (including children), heart disease or stroke should have a flu jab in the autumn/early winter. The jab doesn’t prevent the flu and doesn’t give you the flu (it is a dead vaccine); it prevents severe complications which can be fatal.
Travel Immunisations
Should be organised at least 4 weeks prior to travel by completing a questionnaire from reception, the Nurse will then check what you need.
You can complete an e-consult if you are not able to come in to the practice to complete a questionnaire.
Please contact reception one week after completing the questionnaire.
