Confidentiality
Everybody that works in the NHS has a legal duty to maintain the highest level of confidentiality about all patient information and all doctors and staff at this Practice will abide by this.
Your medical details are entered on our computer system and in patient record folders and are only accessed by authorised personnel.
Doctors and staff are unable to discuss any details of a spouse or relative without the patient being present or giving consent.
You have the right to see your own records, you can do this via your online access or if you need any copy records please put your request in writing.
Disclosure of information to third parties e.g. solicitors and insurance companies can only be made with written consent from the patient.
